Pepper Jay
Within her law practice, Pepper Jay focuses on creditor and judgment collection work, representing secured and unsecured creditors in state and federal court as well as creditor committees in voluntary and involuntary bankruptcy proceedings and workouts. Her clients include banks, leasing companies, manufacturers, property owners and service related and other industries. She also advises clients, and litigates if necessary, avoidance, fraudulent conveyance, and tort bankruptcy matters.
Pepper Jay is the current President of the Wilshire Bar Association. She is also an active member of the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum, State Bar Insolvency Law Committee, and Federal Bar Association.
Giving back to the community is of major importance in Pepper Jay's life. She is on the Board of "Together In Theatre," which assists kids on probation choose a better path and for years she has volunteered with "The Thalians," which created and perpetuates the Mental Health Center at Cedar Sinai Hospital. Further, Pepper Jay is a volunteer lecturer for the Los Angeles Unified School District; teaching young people about "The Power Of Money."
