BUSINESS BIO: Steven Barouh is a collaborative and resourceful executive who brings more than 24 years of business and legal experience to his role as an investment banker/trusted business advisor. Steven is an attorney, a mediator and a licensed real estate broker. Steven understands the nature of business ownership and the transition process, from planning to implementation. He is experienced in finding the right parties for a transaction and in managing those relationships through closing. He has helped business owners grow their companies through acquisition, advised business owners on the transition of their companies, he has helped several find partners to invest time and money into companies and he has helped companies raise working capital in these unsettling financial times. Steven's business experience includes operations, sales and distribution for a Midwest company. He was on the startup team of an equipment finance company and an investment bank. He owned and published the largest independent sports newspaper in Kansas City. He has worked with sales teams in a variety of industries and has been responsible for setting company direction, solving problems, working with vendors and strategic partners, and managing internal relations and employees.   PERSONAL BIO: Steven is a graduate of Beverly Hills High School, University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and Southwestern University School of Law. He was born and grew up in Los Angeles, California, moved to Kansas City in 1985 and recently returned to LA to be with his family and friends. Steven has two great kids, a college graduate and a college sophomore. Steven loves the outdoors, the arts, museums and sports. He plays golf and tennis and referees high school basketball.
