Business Bio: After 4 full years at Washington Mutual, Uriel took an Assistant Manager position at Downey Savings & Loan in Thousand Oaks CA. There he was responsible for managing 4 Bankers and 1 Supervisor and helping them reach their potential by mentoring and teaching different sales techniques. Shortly after 1 year with Downey Savings, Uriel was promoted to branch manager of the Thousand Oaks Office. At the tender age of 23, Uriel was the youngest branch manager within the entire company. His professionalism, maturity, and ambition ensured his continued success at Downey Savings. After being in banking for over 7 years, it was time to make the transition from consumer based banking to commercial banking. So Uriel accepted a position as Bank Manager at First Republic Bank in Downtown Los Angeles. There he was able to fine tune his skills in order to attract the business of small to mid-sized businesses. His focus was on Commercial Deposit Products, Cash Management Solutions and some Commercial Lending. He was able to grow his deposit base from $75MM to $100MM+ in just 2 years. Uriel was recognized as a top performer in his region and was honored with First Republic's "Eagle Award" for most business lines of credit within the Los Angeles District. Following his success at First Republic for over 3 years, Uriel was approached by City National Bank who had a stronger presence in the Los Angeles Area to become a Relationship Manager for their Studio City office. Uriel accepted the role and had a strong following of clients due to the enduring relationships he was able to manage and maintain over the span of his banking career. Within his 1st year at City National, Uriel was recognized with 2 President's Club awards and with his contributions was able to increase the Studio Cities ranking from 83 to 32. Due to his success, Uriel was soon promoted to Vice President and maintained his productivity in order to ensure the continued success of the Studio City Office. His responsibilities spanned more into the Commercial Real Estate market and commercial loans including SBA Products. He successfully managed a portfolio of more than $50MM in business deposits with a loan portfolio of more than $20MM. After careful consideration and many sleepless nights, Uriel accepted an offer from long time client and friend, Robert Loitman, to head his Business Development efforts for L & O Consulting, Inc. Uriel's extensive knowledge in the banking industry, including underwriting guidelines for commercial loans proves to be a great asset for L & O Consulting, Inc. Along with his sales experience, professionalism and most of all, true dedication to his client's success, Uriel is ensured continued long lasting relationships in the business world.
