As a legal counselor, Pepper Jay focuses on commercial and business law and judgment collection work. Pepper's specialty is resolving breach of contract and fraud problems for secured and unsecured creditors in state and federal court, including bankruptcy court. Pepper's clients include banks, leasing companies, manufacturers, property owners,entertainment and other industries.

Pepper Jay serves as the current President of the Wilshire Bar Association. She works closely with Judges as an active member of the Bench and Bar Committee for the Los Angeles Superior Court and as a Bench-Bar Coalition Member for the Judicial Council of California Administrative Office of the Courts. Pepper accepted the invitation by Rocky Delgadillo, our Los Angeles City Attorney, to be a 2007 speaker with the Diversity Speakers Forum. Pepper is a member of the Litigation Section of the State Bar of California, a member of the State Bar Insolvency Law Committee, the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum, and the County and Federal Bar Associations.

Pepper Jay, nee Susan Carole Jay, is admitted to All District and State Courts in the State of California, the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of California, and the Supreme Court of the United States of America.

Giving back to the community is of major importance in Pepper Jay's life. She is on the Board of "Together In Theatre," which assists kids on probation choose a better path and for years she has volunteered with "The Thalians," which created and perpetuates the Mental Health Center at Cedar Sinai Hospital. Further, Pepper Jay is a volunteer lecturer for the Los Angeles Unified School District; sharing with young people "Communication Skills" and "The Power Of Money."

Pepper Jay is the Moderator of the Century City section of All Cities Resource Group.
