BUSINESS BIO:
The Morse Law Group was founded in January 2006. Its
principal, Jonathan S. Morse, has been a practicing attorney
since 1977. The firm specializes in business and commercial
litigation, including airplane crash litigation. Mr. Morse
has substantial experience defending aircraft pilots, owners
and mechanics as well as aircraft manufacturers and
component part manufacturers. He supervised the defense of a
component part manufacturer in two large aircraft property
damage claims in civil actions commenced in France, both of
which resulted in judgments holding that the component part
manufacturer had no liability to the airline or its
insurers.
The firm also handles litigation involving business
disputes for both aviation and non aviation clients. In a
multi million dollar case pending in Illinois, the firm was
successful in obtaining a partial summary judgment in favor
of a client whose son took over the family business and ran
it into the ground, allowing the client the opportunity to
rebuild the business. In other cases, Mr. Morse collected
substantial damages for clients whose property was sold in
derogation of a recorded security agreement.
