PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

April 2011

To All Members,

Our website is almost complete Within the next several weeks our website will be password protected requiring a member log-in . Some aspects of the improved website will be available for public viewing for other, more functional sections, every All Cities member will be assigned a user ID and password.

Each member profile will now also include links to their Facebook page, Linked In page and Twitter, if available, in addition to business websites.

I have spoken many times about the importance of posting member bios, headshots and contact information of our site . Now it's critical . If you have not yet posted all pertinent information on www.allcities.org, we will be unable to issue you a user ID and password. When we evolve as a group, we become a stronger group. As our presence expands on the web. All Cities must maintain a certain image commensurate with that exposure.

If you have not done so, please submit your requested information today. As our improved site will go live shortly, this is an opportunity for everyone to update their All Cities web page as well.

If you have any questions, please contact me directly with any questions or comments.

The March 19th mixer at The World Famous Laugh Factory proved to be a highly laughable night. The event was sold out and the jokes kept on coming.

I would like to thank our sponsors for this event: Fidelity Mortgage Lenders, Lone Oak Fund, Marcum Stonefield LLP and New York Credit Inc. You guys made it fun. By the way, the sponsors receive a collage of the event as a memory for this great evening.

Too bad our softball game at Barrington Park was rained out. We had 36 RSVPs, plus members of ACRG were going to be in the stands. I will keep you posted when the makeup game will be played.

Here's a news flash. Teresa Noorian (one of our members in the Real Estate group) was able to have The Braemar Country Club in Tarzana, play host to our first ever All Cities Golf Tournament. I will keep everyone posted as to when this event will happen.

I would like to give a Thank You to Manny Medrano (a member of the business and finance group) who is a lawyer as well as a legal correspondent on Channel 5 KTLA. He has interviewed on Channel 5 at least 4 people from All Cities (including me) over the last 2 months. Thank you for the great PR you give our members.

As many of our members know, my goal was to have Allcities become a live Linked In. Well , we are almost there. If all goes well, we should have have our first outside guest skype in to 1 of our meetings by the end of April. Can you imagine , having outside guests (eventually members) skyping into our meetings from all over the world. Picture the film director in France skyping into a lunch meeting on the studio lot of Sunset Gower Studios with our members or foreign investors skyping into 1 of our business and finance meetings because they wanted to learn about the new Government EB 5 program. How cool would that be?

Networking is all about getting from Point A to Point B. Getting from Point A to Point B could take 17 steps . My job as the President and founder of The All Cities group is to get everyone from Point A to Point B. There is only 1 element missing, and that's the help of all the members in the organization. What kind of help am I looking for

  1. please make sure your bios, both personal and business are up to date on the website.
  2. please submit articles that you have written that we can post on the website
  3. Please show up on time, whether its the group meeting or the breakout breakfast or lunch meetings. Remember, The way we do anything is the way we do everything.
  4. If you are a member of 1 vertical group, take advantage for the benefit of visiting other vertical groups . You never know, what you don't know until you learn.
  5. Invite guests. If you like the group, share the wealth and invite other people.

That's the spirit of networking. Besides , if the guest becomes a member, I will donate 50$ to any one of the 7 charities on the AllCities website or the charity of your choice. How Cool is that?

Thank you everyone for your support.
