BUSINESS BIO:
Thomas M. Eversole is cofounder and CEO of the Egyptian American Scientific Collaborative (AESC), a California based not for profit company. AESC has been organized specifically to facilitate transfer of vaccine development technology to the middle east, to raise funding for research and development, and to direct related international activities (www.aescollaborative.org)

Mr. Eversole is also a Partner in Applications Development Ventures (Advent), a California based for profit company formed in 1999 (www.a-d-vent.corn). Advent works with a variety of companies and individuals to develop new products and new uses for under utilized facilities and production assets. The firm also assists its clients to find and develop domestic and foreign markets for these and other products which the partners believe are of general benefit. Current and recent projects include:

  • Marketing self contained self administered diagnostic medical tests in developing countries where laboratory facilities, refrigeration, power transport and skill levels needed for conventional tests are not available.
  • Seeking equity investors for FDA compliant trials and final product development of a therapeutic vaccine (cure) for HI V/AIDS and negotiating acceptable terms.
  • Designing, developing and patenting an environment — friendly material for use in a client’s pet market product. This material will have multiple uses in health care, hospitality, food service and other industries and is expected to replace plastics in many applications.
  • Arranging distribution for. or sale/licensing of design and intellectual property rights of a patented ergonomic device to avoid or reduce lower back injury from stoop labor.
  • Developing an inexpensive and concealable remote sensing device for protecting the perimeters of large facilities such as airports, power plants and refineries from intrusion by potential saboteurs.
  • Teaming with a lightning and electrical transient protection company to develop protective measure against EMP terror weapons.
  • Developing and bringing to market a completely computerized artistic design system and creating an internet sales site to market the designs and related products.
  • Obtaining development funding for a high/ultra high voltage electrical transmission fault detection system, working with its Russian designer.

Mr. Eversole serves on the Board of Directors of the Institute for Multicultural Counseling & Education Services (IMCES), a not for profit public service agency designed to treat the varied needs of the culturally and linguistically diverse communities of Los Angeles. California (www.imces.org).

Mr. Eversole was previously sole proprietor of Attarine Imports, an importer and wholesaler of French and Middle Eastern styles in handcrafted furniture. He was Business Development Manager for business valuation firms including Valuation Counselors. Marshall & Stevens, Inc, the American Appraisal Company and General Appraisal Company from 1970 through the early 1990s. This experience contributed to his broad understanding of real, personal and intellectual property valuation concepts and of the top to bottom mechanics of businesses as different as bio med and mattress manufacturing He began his business career with North Arnerican Aviation where he was involved with major aircraft systems proposal development and with business systems design at the Space Systems Division during the Apollo program.

PERSONAL BIO:
Mr. Eversole is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a B.A. in English, spent a postgraduate year in French language study at the Alliance Française, Paris and has taken numerous business and management courses.
