BUSINESS BIO:
Mr. Kaplan has 20 years of experience in transactional real
estate, banking and business transactions. Mr. Kaplan's real
estate practice area includes development, financing,
acquisition and sale, leasing, 1031 tax-deferred exchanges,
loan workouts, foreclosures, and property boundary and
easement disputes. His banking and business transactions
practice includes loan documentation, asset purchase
transactions, purchase and sale of businesses, loan workouts
and foreclosures. Mr. Kaplan represents a broad range of
clients in the real estate, financing and service fields
which includes banks, accounts receivable and asset-based
lenders, factors, mortgage lenders, real estate brokers,
title insurance companies, escrow companies and real estate
developers and investors. Mr. Kaplan also performs services
for clients in connection with the formation of
corporations, limited liability companies and
partnerships.

Education
- B.S. in Physics from the University of California at
Los Angeles
- Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School where he was a
member of the Loyola International Law Journal.
Personal
- Mr. Kaplan lives in Woodland Hills and is married
with one daughter. In his spare time, Mr. Kaplan enjoys
snowboarding, scuba diving (he is a PADI Scuba
Instructor) and traveling.
