Simon E. Newfield practices in the Real Estate Practice Group of Koletsky, Mancini, Feldman & Morrow, and is also a member of the Construction Practice Group.

Mr. Newfield's law firm practice encompasses all aspects of real estate ownership, development, and construction. He represents and advises a variety of real estate owners, developers, contractors, managers, and tenants in matters including development, construction, acquisition, disposition, financing, and leasing of mixed-use developments, retail centers, office centers, industrial properties, and other types of commercial real estate projects.

PERSONAL BIO:
Born in Brussels, Belgium, and raised in Los Angeles, Simon attended the University of California at Santa Barbara where in addition to his studies in Law & Society and Sports Management, he worked for the university’s sports program, producing a local television show highlighting the athletic program’s achievements. His passion for production led him initially to work in the film industry, focusing on development and financing for several notable production companies, including Oscar winning (Best Picture) Kopelson Entertainment. Thereafter, Simon attended Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, where he concentrated his legal education on film financing and transactional law. After law school, Simon worked in entertainment transactional law and as a consultant to various entertainment companies. His passion for project production and finance made Real Estate law a logical next step. When Simon is not in the office, he enjoys all types of music, film, and sports.
