BUSINESS BIO: The Epstein Company has been appraising real estate properties in Southern California since 1962. Founded by Gilbert Epstein, MAI, our firm has provided comprehensive appraisal and consulting services for institutional lenders, attorneys, accountants, property owners, syndicators and developers. Now in our fourth decade, The Epstein Company prepares appraisal reports to serve for underwriting financing of major projects; estate planning; partnership dissolutions; property disposition and tax appeals. We are qualified in various courts as an expert witness. Mr. Silverman has 35 years of experience in appraisal and real estate consulting. From 1975, Mr. Silverman has been licensed by the California Department of Real Estate as a Real Estate Salesman. PERSONAL BIO: Before joining The Epstein Company in 1991, Mr. Silverman was affiliated with brokerage firms; Daniels and Held Organization in Century City, Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services in Ventura, and Cushman & Wakefield in Warner Center. Mr. Silverman is a native of Los Angeles, living in Oak Park/Agoura with his wife and two teenage children.
